My first Christmas!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday and are getting back into the swing of things this week. I had an amazing first Christmas, Grandma and Grandpa Ernst came down to spend the week with us during this special time of year. We shopped, cooked, baked and best of all opened presents HAHA.

I was able to observe Mom and Grandma make the traditional Swedish Bologna on Christmas Eve, I wasn't able to get my hands in it but maybe next year.

I got all dressed up for Christmas Eve so I was ready to open some presents...

I even started to take a few steps on my own...

I receive some awesome gifts from Grandma, Grandpa, my uncle and my aunt...Thank you all for everything, I love it all and play with it everyday!!!

Mom, Dad and I went to the Zoo last night for their Wild Winter Wonderland, there were lights everywhere, penguins and even live reindeer.

We have been having a great time enjoying the new house and exploring the Tampa Bay area. Mom and I joined a play group for first time moms with babies under 2, we have only had one play date so far but we meet some really nice moms and babies. Tomorrow we are meeting at the local walking trail then the next day it's breakfast at the bagel shop!!!

I love to go out of my way just to crawl under the stool...

Mom dressed me up so we could go to the seafood festival, I had a matching hat on but I liked to take it off every time mom put it on me HAHA

We went to see the manatees just down the street from where we live, then we went and had lunch at the beach...

Me being silly, I've been talking up a storm lately...

We went back up to GA for Thanksgiving to visit Grandma and Grandpa Ernst, Uncle Mike and Rachel, and Aunt Nicole and Michael. It was such a great weekend with the family!!!!

All moved in!

So we are officially moved in!!!! The whole move went very smooth and we are settling in nicely here in the sunshine state of Florida. It's hot down here for sure so I still get to wear all my fun summer clothes!!! We all LOVE the new house, it's all one level with a loft area (or as my dad would say a "Man Cave") so it's so great that I can crawl around the whole house and get my exercise exploring and playing with all my toys. I've discovered that if I put my toy in my mouth I can still use both of my hands, amazing HAHA

My first Halloween was awesome, mom and dad dressed me up in this huge pink furry bunny costume, which would have been great for the Georgia fall weather so I was a little hot trick or treating here in FL. So we went to the mall first to strut my stuff for everyone and I thought my name had changed to So Cute because that was what everyone was calling me!!!

Things are getting crazy around the house, boxes everywhere, all our stuff is disappearing by the moment, mom and dad are running around like mad men...Grandpa has been over everyday this week to hang out with me so mom and dad can take care of business around the house. Good news is that I think they are almost done and good thing because the big move day is this Saturday...Sunshine State here we come!

So before we left we had to go to Stone Mountain, it was my first time and we had a blast...

We even rode the cart up to the top, it was so windy and a little chilly we only stayed outside for just a few minutes...

My new thing now is when I'm standing up I get really brave and let go!!!! I can only stand by myself for just a few seconds, mom and dad get so excited, then I sit back down or fall down on my back side HAHA

I'm so sorry it's been so long since my last post we have been very busy!!! We took a trip down to St. Simons Island for Labor Day weekend at the beach for Nick and Brooke's wedding. We all drove down on Thursday along with Grandma and Grandpa Ernst then my Aunt Nicci flew down from Maryland to hang out with me and the rest of the family but we all know who she really wanted to see HAHA!!! Friday we headed out for my very first time at the beach and to be honest I wasn't really feeling it at all, mom bought a tent for me to hang out in and I did not want to go in there at all until I was so tired that I finally gave in and took a nap in it. Saturday I hung out with Aunt Nicci all day while Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and Dad all went to the wedding. They said it was a beautiful wedding and they all had such a great time!!! I was actually not feeling well all day, running a fever, just laying around which is not like me at all. I ended up going to the emergency room in the middle of the night with a 103 fever, everyone was very worried about me. But no worries I went to my doctor when we got back to Duluth and she gave me some medicine and I am all better now!

The other big news is that we are moving to Tampa, FL!!!!! Dad has a business opportunity down there so looks like we will be moving in the next month or so once we find the perfect house. I'm going to miss everyone here in Georgia very much especially Grandma and Grandpa, but we will only be about 7 hours away so hopefully everyone will come and visit and I know we will be back all the time. Good news is we will only be 30 minutes away from the beach so who ever wants a free place to stay near the beach you are more than welcome!!!

Mom and Dad are having to baby proof the house because I'm crawling all over the place and I can even pull myself up on my knees and sometimes standing up...I'm such a big girl and so strong!!!!

Time with family

We all headed back up to Lexington, KY this last week...Dad drove up on Tuesday and Mommy and I actually flew. It was my first time on an airplane and I did great!!! My Aunt Lisa actually flew into Atlanta from Ireland so we were all on the same flight to Lexington. Mommy was really happy to have help at the airport and on the plane, because I can be a little bit of a handful :) We really appreciate all the love and support from all of our family and close friends during this sad time with dealing with the loss of my Uncle Rob, I'm so happy I was able to spend some quality time with him a few weeks ago and put a smile on this face...he will be missed.
